The Fall 2003 semester is coming to a close, and thoughts of students turn to registration for the coming semester. Students can register for their classes in three ways: by telephone, on the internet, or at the Registration office in Room 100B.
Registering by telephone is a convenient way for students to register at home. Students wishing to register this way can dial 1-877-741-YUBA. From there, students need to input either their Social Security number or their seven-digit Colleague ID number, and use their six-digit birthdate as their PIN number in the MM/DD/YY format. Students can register for classes, drop their classes, or find their grades posted at the end of this semester, or grades from their previous semesters at Yuba College. Students also have the option to pay for their account balance by entering their credit card number on their keypad.
Another way students can register is by logging on to Web Advisor at Yuba College’s www.yccd.edu website. The Login ID number is the first letter of the student’s last name capitalized, followed by the student’s seven-digit Colleague ID number. For example, if John Doe with Colleague ID number 0123456 wanted to register for classes on Web Advisor, he’d use the Login ID D0123456. From there, students use their six-digit birthdate as the password. At this screen, students can click on “Web Advisor for Students” to bring up their account page. Students can not only add, drop or search for classes online, they can also view their grades, GPA and unofficial transcripts, as well as check their Financial Aid status and make payments towards their account balance online.
The traditional way to register is in person at the Registration office in room 100B. Students will need to fill out the golden-colored Add/Drop Form with the information for their classes. The wait in line could be long, but this is the only way students can get a one-on-one experience during registration.
