Hiking on some of the best trails in California, whether on foot or horseback, or Sitting by the fire-pit, reading a book and cooking the day’s catch for dinner, or spending a romantic night with your significant other, Bear Valley is the perfect place for it all.
With all the stress of our lives, Bear Valley offers an escape from life that we need. You can use a campground if you would like, or go to White Rock Lake and stick up a tent in the trees, just come prepared to relax your soul and tickle your fancy however you would like to.
Bear valley is approximately 45 miles North of Truckee, CA. off of I-80 exit 188-a and then north on Highway 89 for about 35 minutes, depending on traffic, and then a left on Henness Rd. and all you do after that is follow the road to your lake of choice.
